“It’s still a not-for-profit in addition to member owned,In . said CEO Henry Murphy, a Wheaton resident. “But unfortunately we cannot have any outside stockholders to take care of.”

The former Motorola Workers Credit Union opened with 1939 in Chicago as well as moved to the Schaumburg college campus, along with the Motorola corporation, in the 1980s. Since the company eventually reduced and split into only two, the credit union kept the course. When Murphy begun at the credit union Twenty-one years ago, it got about $220 million inside assets. Today, Andigo offers about $900 million during assets.

The credit union, that’s 115 workers, chose Andigo as a combination of about three words: And I visit. The name provides how the credit union wishes itself viewed as even more mobile and conference the needs of the customer. This past year, Andigo moved off the environs and into a much larger headquarters, also in Schaumburg.

While the idea continues to have offices from both Motorola Solutions in Schaumburg and Motrola Mobility at the Goods Mart in Chicago, Andigo encounters its new full price branch, at 1310 D. Meacham, as reaching greater into the community, Murphy proclaimed.

The credit union offers a lot of the same services when the bigger banks, except it has more favorable charges and lower and fewer service fees, Murphy said.

Andigo also offers some sort of interactive approach with iPads to use to view information inside the workplaces and other iPads designed for kids to play game titles on while watching for their parents.

“We’re working on delivering value in our members,” Murphy explained. “They’re the people we do business with.”
